What to do when construction companies misbehave?

December 9, 2022

Thank you, Baseline residents, for making us aware of property damage, traffic violations, etc. caused by members of construction teams and contractors working at Baseline.

We, your Baseline Community Life team, and the developer, McWhinney, have zero tolerance for damage to personal or community property. And, the ability of emergency vehicles to enter and exit alleyways and streets should never be compromised by anyone, including food vendors and construction vehicles.

Please continue to submit these issues to us, your Baseline Community Life team, via the Community Concern form so we may follow up with builders and McWhinney.

However, please be aware that neither McWhinney nor Community Life has the ability to enforce municipal codes. To ensure proper action is taken, here’s who to contact for enforcement, by location and violation:

  • Blocked alleyways, garages, and streets blocked by vehicles (construction, food vendors, residents, etc) – File report with Broomfield Police (303-438-6400)
  • Damage to personal property (cars, home, etc.) – File report with Broomfield Police (303-438-6400)
  • Damage to common areas, like parks and trails – Submit Community Concern form with Baseline Community Life team
  • General nuisance – File report with Broomfield Police (303-438-6400)
